Amendments to Our Bylaws

As members of FBLA Collegiate, we know that an organization's success is built on a strong foundation of governance and leadership. At the core of that foundation are the bylaws, which serve as the guiding principles for how the organization functions. These rules ensure that everything from elections to decision-making processes runs smoothly and fairly. But like any set of rules, bylaws must evolve over time. Keeping them up-to-date is not just a matter of good governance; it is essential to the growth and sustainability of FBLA Collegiate.

FBLA Collegiate is part of a larger national organization with long-term strategic goals that guide its growth and influence. By regularly revisiting and updating our bylaws, we can ensure that our chapter or state division aligns with these broader objectives. Whether it's emphasizing professional development, expanding partnerships with businesses, or increasing community involvement, updating the bylaws ensures that our operations support FBLA’s mission and vision.

By aligning our bylaws with national priorities, we also increase our chances of securing grants, sponsorships, and partnerships that depend on our adherence to these goals.

In FBLA Collegiate, our bylaws are more than just rules; they are the foundation upon which we build our success. By updating them regularly, we ensure that our organization is relevant, inclusive, and aligned with both our members’ needs and FBLA’s overall mission. Taking the time to review and revise these governing documents shows that we are committed to growth, fairness, and excellence in all that we do. It’s not just a procedural task—it’s an investment in the future of our organization.

Please review the amendments that are provided. Let anyone on the state team know what you think about the current amendments and if you have any yourself. Let’s continue to build a stronger, more dynamic FBLA Collegiate by keeping our bylaws fresh, relevant, and forward-thinking! If you have amendment for our bylaws please go to member resources and there will be a link to the form that you can submit to the state team
