Our History
Arizona FBLA Collegiate history began with our first chapter at Northern Arizona University being established in 1966. At that time we were also known as Phi Beta Lambda (PBL). From then on, chapters were being established all around Arizona in Community Colleges and Universities, for example, all the way up at Grand Canyon University established in 2004 ( was active until 2020). Since 1970, Arizona FBLA Collegiate has hosted its own State Leadership Conference (SLC), as well as routinely hosting other conferences in the Fall (FLC) and Winter (WLC) for its members to practice their competition skills for the State Conference. Currently, Arizona FBLA Collegiate serves 55 members from 6 colleges and has hopes to expand more in the future. By continuing its tradition of helping more members improve their businesses and business-related skills.
